Markham Condos
The city of Markham sits directly in the direction of north-northeast from the city of Toronto; in recent decades, Markham has swelled in size to become a large city on its own with a vast wealth of amenities and recreational activities in and near to it. If you are looking to invest in any of the Markham condos for sale, then you will find that moving into one of them (regardless of where in Markham it is) will be one of the best decisions you could ever make. Surrounded by a great deal of urban culture and urban amenities nearly everywhere, Markham¿s gears of industry turn forevermore as the city marches onward towards a new and brighter future (nearly as one with the nearby cities of Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Scarborough, and Toronto). Thanks to its major roadways, Markham is also highly accessible for anyone living in the city, as well as those living outside. Markham is also a very green city, being home to a large volume of greenspaces and parks, along with the Milne Dam Conservation Area; most of these parks DO contain a few walking/cycling trails for you to make full use of if you should ever feel like it.
Transportation throughout the city of Markham is made easy by the presence of such major highways as the Highway 7, the Highway 407 (a toll highway), and the Highway 404 (which runs up Markham¿s western boundaries). The Highway 7 is pretty much where the majority of Markham¿s commercial amenities are, stretched along both sides of the highway (as this highway functions like a roadway due to it being one of the older highways) going east and west. Such amenities can be found as several restaurants/fast food places, a couple of coffee shops, a handful of gas stations, a couple of banks, a grocery store, a good-sized shopping mall called CF Markville, and several other storefronts. Using the Highway 404, those living in any one of the Markham condos for sale will be able to head south and directly into the city of Toronto (where the Highway 404 becomes the Don Valley Parkway); this will be able to get them right down to the shores of Lake Ontario. Heading north on the Highway 404 instead almost brings you right to the shores of Lake Simcoe as well (in the event you¿d like to partake in awesome watersports or suntanning on the beach).
The Highway 7 is a sizable roadway that can get residents of Markham across the southern part of the city that, when taken eastward, can go all the way to northern Oshawa, and going westward, all the way to just past Woodbridge. This enables anyone who owns one of the Markham condos for sale here to be able to experience everything that is offered in the many towns and cities in-between as well. In Vaughan, you have Canada¿s Wonderland (a fantastic amusement park), and in Richmond Hill and locally, you have a few golf courses that you can make full use of (Richmond Hill Golf Club, York Downs Golf & Country Club, and Angus Glen Golf Club). Being able to fully enjoy every aspect of Markham is of paramount importance, but getting out there and exploring what lies beyond for the day can also be just as fun; thanks to the presence of the Centennial, Markham, Mt. Joy, and Unionville GO train stations, getting around Markham and out to the nearby cities and all of their amenities can be amazingly easy, given that you won¿t have to worry about using your vehicle and gas money to get that extra distance.
